JOKA, das Konzeptalbum von Gidon Carmel & Kyle Morton, erzählt die Geschichte von Gidon Carmels Großmutter Joka – von ihren Erlebnissen in Auschwitz über die Jahre danach bis zu ihrem Tod in Israel im Jahr 1978. Das Album entfaltet sich in elf Songs, jeder aus der Perspektive einer anderen Person, die Joka in unterschiedlichen Phasen ihres Lebens kannte.
